What is The Living Room?

The Living Room is your space to create a living history of your hometown.

‍

It’s a place to pause, reflect and share your local stories – from treasured memories of the past, to ideas and hopes for the future.

‍

Anything goes in the Living Room. From wedding photos to watercolours, newspaper clippings to special songs… Nothing is too big or too small! You can send us a link, share a photo or even leave a recording.

‍

So come on in, take a look around and add your story to The Living Room.

Why submit?

We think it's the people who make a place special. That's why we created The Living Room. This is your space to share your memories, celebrate your local community and shape your town's story, together. Everything you share helps to preserve the past, record the present and inspire ideas for the future!

What can you submit?

You can share all sorts of things in The Living Room. Submit your old photos or latest snaps, upload videos, sound recordings or add a link to something you found. If it tells your story of your town, it belongs in The Living Room.

How to submit

It's really simple to share something in your Living Room. Just click the big Submit button, fill in a few details and tell us the story of your contribution. Then send us a link or upload a file. That's it!
